What is the best water filter for your home or business?

That’s like asking the question, “How tall is a person?” or “How much does a house cost?”

It depends on the person, the house, the location; the surroundings. It depends on the exact details, because every detail makes a difference.

At Water Doctors, we have specialists from coast to coast who help homeowners and business owners diagnose and address their water issues.

If it’s a problem with hard water, where soap isn’t sudsy and fixtures are stained, we can help people find the right water softener to meet their exact needs. We can also set them up with a maintenance plan to help their water softener operate at peak efficiency.

If a restaurant has water with a metallic taste, it’s probably from actual metal, either from the ground or from their own plumbing. Regardless of where it comes from, the problem needs to be addressed if the restaurant wants to stay open for long.

If your water smells like a swimming pool, your city is treating it with chlorine to kill viruses, bacteria, and parasites. In fact, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) actually requires cities to add chlorine to water before water is channeled to homes and businesses.

If a home uses well water, there’s almost certainly arsenic in it.

And the list goes on.

Lead from old pipes. Chlorine from the city. Arsenic, pesticides, or other toxins from the ground. Each pollutant, bacteria, parasite, and chemical needs a direct, specific filtration approach. Going to the store and buying a generic filter doesn’t get the job done because generic filters aren’t designed for your water.

The best water filter is the one that’s built for the water that comes from your tap. Have your water tested and get custom-engineered water that’s tastes good and is good for you.
